Ms. Bachmann is not very fond of GOVERNMENT.

One might argue that she is ANTI Government. Ms. Bachmann and her family made more than $200,000 from the GOVERNMENT in the form of farm subsidies not to grow STUFF. Her husband made more than $200,000 from the GOVERNMENT in the form of medicaid payments counseling unfortunate people with his Christian ETHICS.

Ms. Bachmann has made 100s of thousands of $$$ as a congress person from the GOVERNMENT in the form of a salary. The government she hates so much has provided her with excellent health care for the past 6 years or so as a 3 term congress person.

And Ms. Bachmann now wants to continue receiving 100s of thousands in salary from the GOVERNMENT, she detest so much, as President.

For someone who detest and hates GOVERNMENT,
Ms. Bachmann certainly has benefited tremendously from the GOVERNMENT.

I don't think we should confuse "most electable" with less objectionable. Huntsman is certainly the least objectionable Republican candidate for me. I don't think this equates to most electable.

If I'm a Conservative Republican, the image that is constantly popping into my head when Mr. Huntsman's name comes up is the acronym RINO.

Is Mr. Huntsman a Republican in Name Only?

My preference would certainly be Mr. Huntsman. I have a bias for moderate and reasonable human being leading the country. And if a Republican has to replace President Obama I certainly HOPE that Republican is Jon Huntsman.

Huntsman in the White House would not be a great deal different than Obama in the White House. The most glaring difference in the two men is that one is a White American and the other is a Black American. I think a Huntsman nomination from my perspective as a Democrat would be a win/win situation.

So, Republicans, be reasonable and nominate Jon Huntsman.

Republican conservatives will SETTLE on Huntsman? Embrace Huntsman and not Mitt?

Among the hallmarks of marxist argument are the words "fairness"and "equality", instead of "individual liberty"(the antithesis of "equality", since Liberty accepts the reality of inherent inequality). And "fairness" is the hallmark of the view that the Constitution doesn't mean what it says, but should be interpreted according to the "general intent" of the document.

These are both words Barack Obama emphasises often. Mr. Huntsman's dedication to "fairness" and "equality" are pretty big red flags to me.

Likewise, he speaks Mandarin Chinese and was Obama's ambassador to China. We should end free trade with China and bring industries and millions of jobs back to the US. I doubt Mr. Huntsman would agree with that.

In Short, we already have a President who shares a lot of views with Huntsman. His name is Barack Obama, and I want him and his philosphy replaced--not perpetuated.

We're rid of Daniels, and hopefully Huntsman soon follows him into oblivion.

I support the President because I hope he will do what is best for the country.

Not what is best for Democrats and not what is best for Republican­s. Other wise we put party before country.

Transforma­tive Change doesn't happen overnight. Especially when you have individual­s fighting that change as fiercely as some Republican­s are fighting the President.

In my 62 years on the planet, I have NEVER heard the party out of office say that their primary goal was to remove a President from office. When removal of a President from the White House is the primary objective of the opposition­, you ain't gonna get much done.

Resolving the problems of the the country requires ALL of us working hard and not just the President. Democrats, Republican­s and Independen­ts working together. And when the PRIMARY goal of the opposition is to remove the President from the White House, you don't get much agreement and support from the other side.

Anyone reading this far would be appalled at a Congresspe­rson, Senator, or President engaging in any activity that benefits the voter in exchange for the vote, or contributi­on. >p> I haven't gotten every change I would like, but I think the President has made an HONEST effort and I will vote for him again!

President Obama is probably the only President in history who from day 1 of his Presidency has been targeted by the opposition for removal from office.

Every action and strategy of Republicans for the past 3 years as been focused on one event:

It is well documented what the objective of Republicans is. Party before Country.

Republicans have by design purposely followed a decision path that they think will lead to the removal of President Obama from the White House.

The DO NOTHING Republicans DO NOTHING hoping if Republicans DO NOTHING the President will be blamed by non critical thinking citizens.

Pap never owned a car until deep into the 1960s. So he and Maw and their kids walked a couple of miles over the ridge to the store, not just to buy things, but to use the telephone in emergencies. The phone line ran only as far as the junction store. When my cousin Patricia (Teesie), the only child of Uncle Toad and Aunt Midge, died at age three of spinal meningitis, Pap walked over the ridge to the Unger Store, where he phoned the undertaker at Bumps’ Funeral Home to come get the body. Owner Barry Bumps collected Teesie, did the embalming, and brought her back in the classic “little rosewood casket” of mountain-ballad fame to Over Home, where Patricia was laid out in the living room for a day prior to burial. The day before the funeral service, her casket was placed inside the Greenwood church to await burial the next afternoon. At that time, it was discovered that the coffin would not fit into the child-sized concrete vault lining the bottom of the grave.

So Pap called Bumps again, and told him the vault was too small. “No problem,” Bumps said over the store’s phone receiver, “I’ll send someone out to install a larger vault.” Bumps’ crew finished the job less than an hour before the scheduled funeral. Maw arrived half an hour before the service. She took one look at Teesie’s coffin, ran her hand over it, and exclaimed, “My Lord! This is not the rosewood coffin we paid for!” Instead, the coffin was a cheaper thing, with fake gilt handles instead of brass, and rosewood stain over pine. “It’s been switched!” she said. During the installation of the larger vault, the funeral home had swapped the more expensive coffin for a cheaper pine version. “We need to go down to the store and telephone Bumps, make him get up here with the coffin we paid for,” Maw snapped. She looked at Pap, and Pap looked at her, and both realized that was never going to happen. With the funeral less than a half-hour away, it just wasn’t to be.

“You can’t send everybody off and tell them to come back tomorrow,” Pap said. “So we let Bumps get away with this?” Maw said. Bumps knew all this, too. He also knew that nobody was going to challenge him, because he would just say, “Sue me.” And lawsuits cost money. Besides that, no one in the family was irreverent enough to dig Teesie’s body up again to prove he had switched coffins. The funeral proceeded as planned. Bumps went on to build a large regional funerary business that he sold for millions, amass commercial real estate, and hold political office. Three generations of Bageants and not a few Unger Store folks know this story. And it is as good a symbol as any for the traditional rural suspicion of the American business community, which translates into the rural– urban divide today.
